He has worked in jurisdictions as disparate as Germany, Cayman Islands, Nigeria, Malawi and Tanzania. He has also undertaken work for the DTI, including insolvent trading and directors disqualification. He has prosecuted regularly for H.M Revenue & Customs in the UK.

In 2001 he became one of the first group of people to be appointed as people's peers and the title was gazetted as Baron Adebowale, of Thornes in the County of West Yorkshire, on 30 June. In his capacity as Chief Executive at Centrepoint, Lord Adebowale worked hand in hand tirelessly with the now-deceased Princess Diana and often Prince William (when he was young and at school), to help end youth homelessness and they often spend quality TIME pouring their power of love in the community and touching the hearts of the people.
